What can I say! If you're looking for a small fun filled aircrfat that doesn't need a lot of room to fly and is not a "foamy" then this one ticks all the boxes.

I've owned my E-flite Mini Ultra Stick for a couple years now, so this is more of a long-term overview.

When I set mine up I didn't go for cheap components, and the results are a reliable model that always goes and goes! My set-up includes 4 x Hi-Tec HS-65 servos, Hyperion Titan 30 amp speed control, MP Jet AC28/10-13 brushless motor, APC 10" x 5" e-prop and 3S 20C 2200mAh flight pack. On this set up the motor pulls 15 amps and produces 130 watts of power, more than enough for this very light model. When I installed the motor I used a rubber mounted kit to keep it all smooth.

This model is great for someone that has mastered their trainer and is ready for that next aircraft that can be flown as tame or extreme as you like. My flying is mainly basic aerobatics, loops, rolls, stall turns, spins, snap rolls, inverted flight, etc. After many, many flights all I have done is replaced the plastic tail skid with a sprung wire and pumped heaps of batteries though it. After all these flights the model looks just as new, the covering and finish is of high standard.

As for flying you can slow it up quite a lot, but with all small models keep the speed up in windy conditions. Overall I give this model 10/10! No bad points at all!

    Enjoy,
    Mike

This is one GREAT small plane! I've owned my E-flite Mini Ultra Stick for a while, so this is more of a long term review.

When I set up my model I deceided to use quality hardware, rather than the abundance of cheap alternatives. My set-up comprises of 4 Hitec HS-65 servos, Hyperion Titan 30 amp speed control, MP JET AC 28/10-13 motor, APC 10" x 5" E-prop, 3S 20C 2200mAh lipo. The motor draws 15 amps and produces 130 watts of power. This is just the right amount of power for general sport flying that suits me well.

When initially putting this model together I was impressed on the quality of the parts, and especially the magnetic battery hatch, the quality of the covering and solid landing gear.

After many flights the model looks just as good as it did when new, the only repair I have done is replaced the plastic tail skid with a solid metal wire that works well.

If you're looking for a model that performs well for a sport flyer then this is the one!

    Cheers,
    Mike
